MEANINGFUL JEWELRY, MADE WITH YOU IN MIND, ONE PIECE AT A TIME.
Thanks so much for your interest in our company. If you have questions please email us and we'll be happy to assist.
We want you to wear your jewelry - and love it. If you don’t, just send it back to us! For example, if you’d like a different stone or metal, we’re happy to swap it out. We want you to feel as good about your jewelry as you do about us. We see you as we do our BFF, our mom, and our sister, and you can expect to be treated as such!
Judith Bright LLC happily accepts returns for a full refund in the original form of payment within 60 days of original purchase and exchanges within 120 days of your initial purchase.
Returned jewelry must be unworn and in its original condition to be accepted as a return or exchange. Be sure to have your jewelry returned or exchanged in its original packaging.
A Judith Bright associate must be able to locate the original purchase in our system for proof of purchase, with either a receipt copy or the name of the original purchaser.
Judith Bright LLC reserves the right to exercise discretion in denying returns due to the condition of the product or lack of proof of purchase. Express shipping on an original order is non-refundable.
Email gurus@judithbright.com if you have any questions or need assistance.
With proper care and careful wear, your Judith Bright jewelry should last a lifetime. Here are some tips for wearing and loving your favorite one of a kind, handmade pieces:
— Do not wear your jewelry in the shower, bath, swimming pool or ocean. Our metals are of high quality, but water will always find a way to wear away at metal.
— Wait until all lotion, sunscreen, medicine, and perfume are dry before putting on your jewelry.
— For cleaning, gold filled and silver jewelry can be treated the same way- using your silver polishing cloth and then gently clean with Dawn dish soap and warm water. For some pieces, it may be appropriate to use a soft-bristled toothbrush to clean them. When you are not wearing your jewelry, place it in a cloth bag to halt the tarnishing process.
Please allow up to 3-10 business days for production, processing, and handling time for orders to be shipped out! We hope you find value in each piece, handcrafted with heart and soul by one of our talented artisans!
Orders are processed and fulfilled Monday-Friday as they come in, regardless of the shipping method chosen. Custom orders placed on Saturday and Sunday are processed the following business day. If your order is placed on or during a major holiday, your order will be processed the following business day.
Our items are available in a staggering combination of around 30,000 different options, therefore retail stock comes in limited supply. If you need something in a pinch, please email us at gurus@judithbright.com and we’ll let you know what’s ready to roll.
We want to keep you in your JB, therefore we are happy to provide repairs! The fee is 15% of the original cost of your piece.
The majority of jewelry that comes back for repair is not due to how it is made, but rather improper care of jewelry. Please understand that if we receive your piece and it needs repair due to how it was assembled, we will process it with no fee!
With proper care and careful wear, your Judith Bright jewelry should last a lifetime. If you do happen to need a repair, follow the steps below. If your jewelry arrived broken, please email gurus@judithbright.com.

If you lose one earring, don’t despair! We can sell you just one. Because items, gemstones, and techniques vary, we do ask that you send the old one into the Nashville studio so that we can make a match and clean it up for you. Please include the repair form with your jewelry as well as your return address and a phone number where we can easily reach you to when we call for your credit card number. The shipping back to you will be on us, as usual! Please allow up to 7-10 business days.

Careful preparation of your package helps to ensure safe delivery.
Choose a box with enough room for cushioning material around the contents. Sturdy paperboard or corrugated fiberboard boxes are best for weights up to 10 pounds. If you are reusing a box, totally remove or obliterate all previous labels and markings with heavy black marker.
You can purchase boxes and tubes of various sizes at most Post Offices. Select Priority Mail Express and Priority Mail boxes are available free at the Post Office for items sent using either of these services. While you are not required to use the free packaging for these services, you must use the USPS-produced address label provided by the Post Office for Priority Mail Express. To order Priority Mail Express or Priority Mail boxes at no extra charge, call 1·800·222·1811 or visit www.usps.com/store.
Place the cushioning all around your item or items. You can use newspaper, “foam peanuts,” or shredded paper. Close and shake the box to see if you have enough cushioning. If you hear items shifting, add more cushioning.
Placing an extra address label with the delivery and return addresses inside the package will ensure that the item can be delivered in case the outside label becomes damaged or falls off.
Use foamed plastic or padding to protect your items, placing the cushioning inside hollow items as well. Mark the package “Fragile” or mark “Perishable” on packages that contain food or other items that can spoil. Careful packaging is the best way to safeguard your valuable items against damage.
If you are mailing a very heavy or very dense item, start with a sturdy box, pack the contents securely with a strong material for bracing to prevent shifting, and tape all the edges with reinforced tape. Packages heavier than 70 pounds cannot be mailed.
Tape the opening of your box and reinforce all seams with 2-inch-wide tape. Use clear or brown packaging tape, reinforced packing tape, or paper tape. Do not use cord, string, twine, masking, or cellophane tape. Place a strip of clear packaging tape over your label to prevent the address from smearing.
Print or type your address in the upper left corner on the same side of the package as the delivery address.
Place labels for extra services above the delivery address and to the right of the return address, or to the left of the delivery address.
Use stamps, a postage meter, or a PC Postage system to affix the correct amount. You can calculate and purchase postage online at www.usps.com.
Print or type the delivery address parallel to the longest side of the package. Type or print clearly with a pen or permanent marker so that your address is legible from an arm’s length away. Do not use commas or periods.
Labels for USPS Tracking or Signature Confirmation are placed to the left of the address label.
To find the correct spelling of a city name and state abbreviation or to find a ZIP Code, visit www.usps.com or call 1·800·ASK·USPS. Using the correct ZIP Code helps direct your mail more efficiently and accurately.
If your mail item weighs 13 ounces or less, and you have affixed correct postage, you can drop it into a blue collection box. If your item weighs more than 13 ounces, and you have affixed postage stamps, you must take it to an employee at the retail counter of a Post Office.

If your package gets lost in transit, Judith Bright LLC. will do everything we can to assist you, although we cannot be held responsible for packages once they are in the hands of USPS and/or proof of delivery is generated.
For all orders over $300 we strongly recommend choosing USPS plus Signature or FedEx 2day shipping.
Since we cannot be responsible for delivered packages that have been lost or stolen, we highly recommend selecting a delivery address that you trust and select a shipping method accordingly.
Packages returned with delivery failure (multiple delivery attempts, insufficient address information, refusal, canceled after shipment, etc.) due to customer error will incur a $5.00 restocking/reshipping fee. A restocking & reshipping fee will be applied to the final refund amount or charged upon re-shipment of the order once the original package is received in-house.
Once orders are placed, they are put in production and we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations. Please email us asap with any changes gurus@judithbright.com and we'll do our best to help!
To provide our customers with the most affordable shipping service we use the USPS First Class Business Mail, FREE OF CHARGE, on all orders unless otherwise selected during the checkout process. Other shipping methods offered include USPS Priority Mail, FedEx 2nd Day, FedEx Standard Overnight, FedEx Priority Overnight and of course In-Store pick up options!
Judith Bright currently ships within the Continental U.S, Hawaii & Alaska. We hope to add International shipping in the near future! We cannot express ship to APO/FPO & P.O.
If you need to ship to multiple addresses, the most efficient way to do this is to place separate orders for each address.
NOTE: FedEx 2nd Day and FedEx Standard Overnight packages will only be delivered Monday-Friday.
For all orders over $300, you will need to choose FedEx or USPS Priority plus Signature for shipping. If your order is less than $500 and you are worried about delivery or theft, you have the option to purchase signature required for the prices stated above. Customers will receive a notification via e-mail once your order has shipped containing a tracking number. The metals we feature in our designs are purchased only in the United States and include 14 Karat Gold-Filled and Sterling Silver. We use these metals because they provide the highest quality at the most affordable price.
Gold-Filled
14K Gold-filled is a durable gold product affording the look of solid gold at a fraction of the cost. It is made by bonding a layer of 14K Gold to a base metal, usually brass, through heat and pressure. (Think of the base metal as a sponge and the layer of gold filling in the holes when heated.) It is sturdier than gold plate — which has an ultra-thin coating and can turn colors and eventually chip off — or vermeil, which can rub off through normal wear. 14/20 Gold-Filled materials are regulated by the Federal Trade Commission and must contain 1/20th of 14K Gold.
If you can wear gold, you can wear gold-filled without worries of an allergic reaction as all of our jewelry is nickel-free. Judith is very allergic to nickel and can wear every piece in the line with no problem.
Sterling Silver
We offer Argentium Sterling Silver where possible, because it is a pure silver with the alloy Germanium (rather than the usual copper), which reduces tarnishing considerably.
Our beads are made from real sandalwood. Sandalwood is rare and should be treated carefully. Please do not get them wet or sweaty as that will cause them to dry out and turn white. Imagine putting a glass of water on an unfinished table and how that creates a white ring. It’s the same process. If you find yours to be dried out, please send them back to the store or drop them by and we’ll refresh them with some sandalwood oils. If you find them losing their smell, put them in a ziplock bag overnight and their scent should be restored. You could also call our Nashville store to purchase sandalwood oil! Just be sure to use no more than one drop of oil!
Often people wear perfume and lotions and the beads take on that smell. If you wear them a lot - and we hope you do - they will definitely start to smell more like you!
They will also "get good" meaning they will become darker and shinier. The beads are strung on traditional elastic. The best way for the bracelets to retain their shape is for you to roll them off your arm. Resist pulling on them prior to removing them. Nothing will stretch them out faster.
We are currently not hiring, but if you would like to send us your resume for future considerations, please email it to:

1964 Born Judith La Gorce in Washington, DC
1970 Discovers mom’s jewelry box, time stands still
1972 Unfounded fear that Mom’s jewelry box has been stolen, but later found under chaise where mom hid it from burglars (and Judith). Judith breathes huge sigh of relief.
1977 Relatives tire quickly of Judith’s ‘playing ring’ game: how many ways can one stack and combine rings on a finger.
1981-1989 After working as a candy-striper, Judith chooses nursing as her career. Graduates from Vanderbilt University Nursing School in Nashville, Tenn., Heads to LA to work with AIDS patients at Cedar’s Sinai Medical Center. Ends nursing career—too exhausting and sad—and lands job as production assistant on “Growing Pains,” exhausting & complete opposite of sad.
1990 Works at Disney for an Australian film director. Main job is to help director not call every female executive “Sheila.” Successfully accomplishes this goal.
1991 Marries man with an incredibly optimistic name: Will Bright. Little does she know that this will one day become a wonderful jewelry brand moniker as well.
1992 Lands wonder-job with Quincy Jones, and finally gets serious about work.
1997 Baby boy #1 is born.
1999 Baby boy #2 is born. Judith becomes President of Quincy’s publishing company.
2001 Baby boy #3 is born. Whew! Thoughts return to the simplicity of ‘playing ring.’
2002 Retires from Quincy Jones to chase dream career as a jewelry designer.
2003 Moves family to Florence, Italy to take big-time jewelry classes. Starts drinking wine at lunch in order to fit in. Unable to wear “European” sized jeans, she buys lots of scarves instead.
2004 Family settles in Nashville, TN and Judith turns 40.
2005 Sets up Judith Bright jewelry business, spends days sketching designs, sipping cappuccinos and waxing on poetically about peridots and citrine. Actually, spends days creating jewelry like a woman possessed; nights with toothpicks in eyes doing Internet research.

Jewelry appears in Oscar nominated film, Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, MO. Judith voted as a Nashville Business Journal “Woman of Influence”. Summits Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
2019 Judith travels to Israel, Hong Kong, and Croatia, Becomes the Community Chair for the Nashville Chapter of the Entrepreneur's Organization. Joins the Advisory board to the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. Joins the McWhorter Circle at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center. Raced her boys down the slopes after Christmas. Her blue ski helmet ponytail was apparently very embarrassing to said boys.
2020 Things were going swimmingly, then COVID hit. Our stores were closed for 4 months. During that time, we said a sad goodbye to our Atlanta store and opened in Franklin, TN at The Factory. The JB team rallied and persevered. Judith named as Most Admired CEOs by The Nashville Business Journal.

Click here for our size guide.
For rings:
Download our ring/cuff sizer here and make sure to print it at 100%. To use the tool, find a ring that fits the finger you are buying for and find the circle that most closely matches it. If you still are not sure you can go to any jewelry store and they will be glad to size you.
For cuffs and clasps:
Download our ring/cuff sizer here and make sure to print it at 100%. Find a piece of non-stretchy string or paper. Wrap it around your wrist. Using a pen, mark the point on the string or paper where it overlaps, forming a complete circle. Use the ruler below to determine your cuff size. Refer to the measurements on the size options on the cuff you are wanting to purchase. If you are between sizes, order the larger size.
Our passion at JB is making jewelry that is not only beautiful but meaningful. Every piece is 100% customizable within the product line, which means that you can choose your own gem, your own metal, your own combinations, and your own size. Because every single piece of our jewelry is handmade by artisans in our studio, we can customize our pieces to fit your needs and wants. That includes sizing. Bracelets and cuffs can be made to accommodate wrists of all sizes, necklaces can be shortened or extended, and rings are available in sizes that are otherwise hard to find.
We only do custom sizing and customization within our designs. For instance, you can have 90% of our jewelry in 14K Gold-Filled, Rose Gold-Filled and sterling silver and in up to 40 different gemstones.
We want you to wear your jewelry and we certainly don’t want it sitting in a drawer. That’s why we will do whatever we can to make your piece fit you and your personal style perfectly. If you receive a piece that needs an adjustment, don't hesitate to contact us!
