Sandalwood-Summer’s “IT” Collection

I can tell that summer is in full swing when my desire to stack tons of our sandalwood bracelets around my wrist is ten-fold. The colorful look of pairing several different stones together perfectly compliments any summer outfit. The sweet yet musky sandalwood scent reminds me of childhood summer camps, all day music festivals, or any clear night with friends around an outdoor fire. The best part of the JB sandalwood bracelets is that they are made with real sandalwood blessed by Buddhist monks in Nepal. Most “sandalwood” beads you see are actually just wood beads infused with oils. When I wear my sandalwood bracelets out on the town, I am constantly stopped by friends and strangers wondering about that intoxicating scent. It’s just subtle enough to only reveal itself in an intimate conversation and serves as a pleasant reminder later in the day when you are reading your favorite book or catching up on your emails.

A note for mothers, aunts or grandmothers- children love them too. I tested mine this past weekend with my three-year-old nephew and not only did he love the colors and sound of the beads as he rolled his hand over them back and forth, but I learned that they are also some of our most “durable” or “indestructible” pieces of  jewelry.  Perfect for the mom who sometimes feels she can never keep any of her things safe or unbroken. My sister plans to make her order this week…  Judith can attest as well. She tells people that sometimes with three little boys screaming in the back of a van, a few inhales of her sandalwood bracelets keep her going strong.
