Spend the Morning with Sara!

I would consider myself a morning person, so I am very consistent with my morning routine. I have found that if I start my day with a solid routine I am more likely to have a good day! I typically wake up at 7:30 and make my bed. Making my bed feels like an official start to my day. I kick off my morning with a homemade Matcha Latte and 16oz of water. I am not loyal to one brand of matcha powder, I like to change it up and try different types. I am currently taking the Goli Apple Cider Vinegar Gummy Vitamins every morning. I have noticed a decrease in bloating and the gummies taste amazing!
 
The most important part of my daily routine is setting aside time to get outside. Every morning I take my dog, Soya, on a 2 mile walk before I start getting ready for work. Vitamin D and exercise has a huge impact on my mindset and ability to focus, so I very rarely skip this step of my morning. 
 I am a huge believer in SkinCeuticals skin care products. I wash my face with SkinCeuticals Simply Clean Face Wash then moisturize with SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Gel! Both of these products are very gentle, clean, and hydrating! When I leave for the day I make sure to have plenty of water to last me through the day.

Good Morning!

My coffee ritual is what helps me get out of bed in the morning! I mix in some Marine Collagen and some almond creamer. Pro tip: For foamy goodness, use this game-changing whisk. For breakfast I have coconut milk yogurt and Purely Elizabeth vegan, gluten-free blueberry hemp granola with fresh fruit. While I’m fixing breakfast I listen to the NYT Podcasts The Daily and NPR Up First.

Afternoon Pick-me-up!

I like to keep my lunch breaks fast and simple, but nutritious so I usually make a chocolate-peanut butter smoothie in my vitamix. 

Recipe:

- 1 Organic Banana

- 2 Scoops of Vegan Chocolate Powder

- 1 Scoop of Chocolate Peanut Butter PB Fit Powder

- 1 Scoop of Anthony’s Organic Cocoa Powder

- 1 Scoop of Chia Seeds

 - 1 Rounded Teaspoon Psyllium Husk Powder

- Water & Ice

Evening Wind-Down.

An evening routine is so important! I start off my nights with an early evening Hot Yoga class at Nashville Yoga Co - my fave studio!
When I get home from yoga, I jump in a hot tub with bath salts from Cosmetic Market or AshBlue, light my Grapefruit Nest Candle, and do a little reading, using my awesome Bamboo Bath Tray.
I’ve limited myself to 1 hour of tv each night, sometimes no tv. Right now I’m watching White Lotus and Modern Love. I’m super-boring with the same dinner's over and over, so I’ve signed up for Purple Carrot which offers full meals for a few weeks to see how that goes!
Into the Sheets: Honestly my favorite sheets are from Costco; they are awesome. I spray them with Lavender Linen Spray from Thistle Farms, slather Skin Food by Weleda all over my face, apply this Lip Sleeping Mask, jump into bed, open up my audible app and play my book on sleep timer for 30 minutes, and I’m gone. I’m listening to The Midnight Library right now. It’s really fun!
